GENESEE CO., Mich. (WNEM) – Genesee County Sheriff Chris Swanson introduced Friday the Genesee Human Oppression Strike Workforce rescued 18 out of 30 youngsters on their most susceptible listing.
The GHOST rescue operation was on June 30.
Kids on their most susceptible listing are labeled as youngsters who slip by the cracks in probate courtroom and Little one Protecting Companies.
The GHOST group mentioned they may proceed to research and search for the opposite 12 excellent youngsters on the listing.
“Predators search for youngsters which can be susceptible that no person ever thinks about,” Swanson mentioned.
Kids placed on probably the most susceptible listing are labeled as potential victims.
One of many rescued youngsters, a 14-year-old, was taken to Voices for Kids for a forensic interview. The 14-year-old confirmed proof of bodily abuse, in line with GHOST.
This case is being given to CPS for a parental plan.
