(Reuters) – President Joe Biden on Tuesday introduced the most recent nominees to function U.S. attorneys, together with within the San Francisco space.
Biden nominated Ismail “Izzy” Ramsey, a Harvard-trained former prosecutor turned felony protection lawyer, to function the highest federal prosecutor within the Northern District of California, an workplace that tackles high-profile crime in Silicon Valley and the Bay Space.
He additionally nominated Kate E. Brubacher, a Yale-trained former county prosecutor in Missouri, to function the highest federal prosecutor in Kansas.
Ramsey is a founding accomplice of Ramsey & Ehrlich LLP in Berkeley, California, the place he has labored since 2006. Ramsey beforehand served as an assistant United States lawyer in the USA Lawyer’s Workplace for the Northern District of California from 1999 to 2003.
