Taqueria Diana
Taqueria Diana is a great place to go if you crave Mexican cuisine. Here, you can order chips and salsa, chicken nachos, tacos al pastor, rajas quesadilla, or even delivery services with convenient pickup locations nearby. Cal-born chain La Cucaracha’s East Village outpost may feature some design shortcomings (stand-up counters should be in front rather than back), yet that hasn’t stopped Southern California expats from flocking here in droves for its Mission-style burritos and show-stopping nachos. While their menu also includes carne asada and al pastor tacos, nothing compares to their enormous plates of tortilla chips covered with melted cheese, beans, hot poblanos, guacamole, and your choice of meat that genuinely stands out as showstoppers!
This restaurant is incredibly popular with office lunch-goers due to its reasonable prices and delicious food. I typically opt for their burrito and nacho platter; their nachos can feed two people easily! Soho is home to this NYC best tacos spot and features a brasserie and taqueria; one serves formal dining room-style, while the latter provides more casual service. Both locations offer authentic Mexican fare, such as tacos and burritos, while their bar features over 200 varieties of tequila for you to sample!
This place is an unexpected treat: its Formica counters and neon signs may make it look like any other dive, but once inside, you’ll experience more than a mere restaurant: three distinct areas come alive: Lafayette Taqueria on Kenmare Avenue at Lafayette St; an airy cafe upstairs; and finally the mysterious subterranean brasserie!
At this taqueria, accessing the main dining area can be challenging. Calling ahead is best; otherwise, you could attempt sneaking in through an employees-only door and asking the hostess for her phone number if she likes you; otherwise, ask for one at the employees-only entrance if necessary.

Tacombi
Tacombi offers fast and convenient Mexican cuisine at reasonable prices, including tacos, guacamole, and margaritas. Their prices are moderate while service is friendly – plus orders can even be delivered.
Tacombi was established in 2006 and has become an iconic eatery across New York City with nine locations and an ever-expanding national presence. They aim to share Mexican hospitality through restaurants and products while contributing to local communities. Dario Wolos, their founder, possesses experience in finance and culinary arts; his style is relaxed and sophisticated, with an angular face and intense doe eyes.
Tacombi started with a straightforward goal: bringing fresh, authentic tacos to New York City. Before moving them to more permanent premises, he sold them from a converted Volkswagen bus. Furthermore, customers can indulge in watermelon and pineapple margaritas that provide refreshing yet tasty cocktails!

El Torito
El Torito in Newport Beach offers an enjoyable atmosphere for socializing. El Torito’s menu has been significantly refined since being taken over by new owners Xperience Restaurant Group last year and purchased out of bankruptcy proceedings. This new menu boasts dishes such as crispy flautas served with jalapeno-red pepper dip, tacos al pastor, and grilled barbecue burrito stuffed with shredded carnitas, rice, whole pinto beans, salmon entree with Veracruz sauce, in addition to adding new twists to existing favorites from El Torito’s iconic brands.
