BMW’s German, UK factories will return to full output

BERLIN — BMW Group stated it could resume full manufacturing subsequent week at factories that have been halted or slowed by provide bottlenecks after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Earlier this month, output was paused at factories in Munich and Dingolfing, Germany, and Oxford, England.

BMW stated final week that it could start to restart the factories, and manufacturing chief Milan Nedeljkovic gave extra particulars of the ramp up on the automaker’s annual information convention on Wednesday.

Manufacturing will resume later this week in Munich and Dingolfing, beginning with a staggered ramp-up earlier than returning to common ranges from March 21, BMW confirmed in an e-mail to Automotive Information Europe.

Manufacturing of Mini automobiles in Oxford stays interrupted this week, however shall be ramped up once more from subsequent week, Nedeljkovic stated.
