BERLIN — The German authorities remains to be discussing its voting behaviour on European Union plans to successfully ban the sale of latest vehicles with combustion engines from 2035, a German authorities spokesperson stated.
The feedback come after Christian Lindner, the nation’s finance minister and vice chancellor, stated on Tuesday that Europe’s largest automotive market wouldn’t conform to the ban, including that there would proceed to be niches for combustion engines after this date.
Lindner is a member of the pro-business Free Democrats, which shares energy with the Social Democrats and Greens.
