(Reuters) – New Mexico’s secretary of state is suing Otero County after its Republican-led fee refused to certify June’s main election outcomes, citing conspiracy theories about voting machines.
The three-person fee in Otero County, in southern New Mexico, on Monday voted towards certifying the outcomes of the June 7 main election for races together with governor, congress and lawyer basic regardless of the county clerk’s assurances that the vote was sound.
