NORTH AURORA, Unwell. (CBS) — Police in North Aurora reported officers needed to shoot a canine Thursday afternoon after the canine attacked a 6-year-old boy and the animal’s proprietor.
Police had been known as to the 200 block of Hidden Creek Lane in North Aurora, simply off Oak Road, for a report of a canine assault in progress.
When officers arrived, the canine was attacking his proprietor inside the house, which was locked. Firefighters helped rescue a 2-year-old boy by way of a window earlier than officers had been capable of get inside to rescue the canine’s proprietor.
