Professional-Moscow authorities in Ukraine’s Kherson area name for Russian army base

US President Joe Biden says he and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi — who has been reluctant to condemn Russia’s battle in Ukraine — would focus on the “brutal and unjustified” battle on Tuesday.

Biden and Modi are assembly on the sidelines of the Quad Summit, which is going down in Tokyo and consists of their counterparts from Japan and Australia.

Chatting with reporters, Biden raised the impact the battle has had “on your complete world world order.”

India is the one Quad member but to sentence Russia’s actions or impose sanctions on Moscow.

Modi delivered his remarks subsequent, calling Quad conferences “very optimistic and productive.” He praised the US-India relationship as “a partnership of belief” and pressure for world good, highlighting their “frequent pursuits and shared values” in addition to financial cooperation.

He didn’t point out the battle in Ukraine.

“Will you push Prime Minister Modi to take a harder stance on Russia?” one journalist stated. One other requested, “Did you ask Prime Minister Modi to wean himself off of Russian oil?”
