This world of ours seemed to be never in such turmoil. Anytime we switch on the radio, most of us hear of more dismal happenings around the globe. No ahead of one calamity is claimed and talked about, then a different one quickly follows on it has the heels. We seem to be moving from one distressing incident to a new one quickly. Often there are natural disasters, including storms, earthquakes, and floods, in addition to landslides, tornadoes, tsunamis, bushfires, contractible diseases, volcanic breakouts, and more. Allied to all these, there are man-made catastrophes, including uprisings, feuds, and conflicts which lead to many people’s misery, including displacement and famine.
When commenting on the causes of so much misery in addition to unhappiness in our world currently, we must not forget another major source, degeneration. This has generally bedeviled civilized society and is more relevant now than ever. In the more produced nations, degeneration is like any unmanageable bush fire. It has brought down great civilizations and empires and will undoubtedly continue to achieve this task in the future. Degeneration is often noticed in the guise of lower income, crime, alcoholism, political corruptness, low moral standards, lovemaking perversion, etc. Honesty, decency, and a willingness to help the particular less fortunate are all at risk of becoming almost obsolete.
The particular ironic thing is that this world of ours could and maybe the Garden of Eden as described in the Publication of Genesis. There is no reason why we should not live in a harmonious relationship and be at peace with each other. This specific earth of ours is a fruitful, abundant, and stunning place, and there is more than enough to serve if methods for resource supply were to change. Unfortunately, this may not be the case, and a small portion of people possess far more than they will ever need; therefore, resources continue to be unevenly allocated.
Different types of authorities have been tried and tested throughout the centuries. Capitalism, socialism, and communism are common varieties. All mankind provides continues to be visited upon simply by strife, famine, and catastrophes. Nothing has changed. It is easy to become defeatist and say there is no point in trying to change items; nothing will work. However, I believe that things can alter and must if this world is not to self-destruct. We could make this world a considerably better place to live in once we only change our attitude toward our lives and each other.
Take the sort of a person. If the face has a defeatist attitude to life, they may bring nothing but woe and misery into their existence. Then again, the coin, if this man embraces life and exudes optimism, then life has to be joy and an exciting venture. This is not wishful thinking; you should understand, proven over and over again. Each of you, as an individual, has a decision. We can attract positive stuff and make our daily life a contented experience for ourselves and the people we are associated with. However, we can live with fear in addition to strife constantly uppermost in our minds. People make that decision daily and have to live together with the consequences.
Suppose this scenario is effective for individuals, and it does. Why can it not work for groups of people, nations, or even for contemporary society in general? The simple and sure answer to that is, yes, it could work. Where are the degrees of this? I will give one or maybe more to highlight the point. Devotees connected with organized religions aspire to deal selflessly, making this life a satisfying experience for themselves and their members.
Christian religions, including Roman Catholics, Protestants, Puritans, Quakers, etc., and not Christian religions, such as Yoga, Hinduism, Judaism, etc, have a very belief in God and prepare this as the focal point inside their lives. Studies have invariably proven that people with a strong faith-based belief lead a more comfortable life. They also have higher degrees of “life satisfaction.” The conclusions suggest that religion can offer a buffer shielding life’s disappointments. The happiest people I have ever met were monks who also lived frugal and simple lifestyles and did not even have any coffins when they died.
Altruistic organizations help the many vulnerable and needy, particularly during disasters and significant conflicts. The staff of these organizations invariably work long and arduous hours, especially when facing great human misery and suffering. Yet they are thrilled to do this and derive a lot of satisfaction and fulfillment from their work. They are generally satisfied people with a positive philosophical perspective on life.
Christian religions and charitable organizations are just a few examples I use to show that a positive and unselfish attitude to life will bring on a real sense of self-fulfillment. Not only that, but the people involved hope to create a better world on their own and for others who follow these individuals. In short, they are transforming the earth, even if only in a teeny way.
People not needed for big organizations also have a critical role in making the earth a better place to live. If each citizen of each land were to take responsibility to do something and think constructively, in that case, there would be an immediate transformation in society. This often begs the question, how can this occur because too often, the approach is to crave recognition, recognition, and money. These high expectations and selfishness are everywhere you go to be seen. Generations of people usually grow with the belief that they must come first at everything as well as that they must get anything they want, even if it is at the expense of others. There isn’t any such thing as good perdant, just losers. What features happened to President John F. Kennedy’s philosophy in 60 when he said, “Ask not what your country can do in your case; ask rather what you can do for one’s country.”
There has to be a major transfer back to this kind of aspiration. Privately I believe that the change must start in the classroom. When children are taught from an early age the importance and value of wanting to help others and add to society, the foundation will probably be laid for a better down the road. Then we will begin to attract positivity and optimism. If this happens Me utterly convinced that we can easily once again walk in the Garden of Eden, and natural catastrophes and war will be a factor of the past. It will be an extended and tortuous road; nevertheless, the prize at the end is precious. Who will be brave enough to set the ball rolling and start any wave of decency and caring?
