The U.S. is extending a federal requirement that vacationers put on masks on airplanes, at airports, on trains and buses by means of April 18, the Facilities for Illness Management and Prevention mentioned Thursday.
The mandate was set to run out on March 19.
An extension of the mandate comes because the federal authorities, cities and states have rolled again masks mandates and different pandemic insurance policies as Covid instances drop.
